According to the in game mission description there is another mission that is unlocked after this one is compleated. I don't see a new one. The Wikki also says nothing. Does anyone know what the next mission is in the chain? I am Rank 78 if that makes any difference.

The stolen research mission is extremely annoying. I have been trying to complete it for 2 weeks now. I have sunk atleast 15000 energy into that mission and I keep getting mission fails, usually when i have 14/15 completed. Right now I am finished 4 out of 5 completions and can not wait until it is finished so I dont have to see mission failed anymore.

Generally the strategy has been to skip over the missions that have a chance of failure, and focus on missions that give rewards other than just credits and XP.

Well I have found that you get rewards sometimes even if the mission doesnt mention one. For instance I recieved a subspace compressor for completing this mission which gives you 15 defense and 15 energy and takes 0 space.

That isn't from that mission alone. That's one of the tiers from completing a certain number of mission. Any missions.

except those never ending missions, they dont count into that.

Actually the mission tier rewards go by mission finishes, which because the repeatable missions can't finish they don't count.
