I've saw a Rank 1 Zolazin Sab, as well as a Rank 1 Kronyn Excavator... If you can reset and keep the unlocked races I would finish Lazuli Chain mission and reset to make myself a nice ssb Lazuli Fixer. Not sure but I "think" you can, but NOT SURE.

I think that might be some sort of programing loophole- I don't think that should work. Why don't you ask dan?

Nope, you dont keep any unlocked races after a reset.

What you are seeing is someone who has reset but not chosen a new race yet, hence rank 1 taltherian etc.

This is correct. It means they hit "reset" and literally did not touch anything after that; they closed the window out while the game was on the "Choose your race" screen.

Maybe not on the character reset screen but have you tried switching races by using 20gp? if so then case closed.

You keep nothing except the Time Played medal's progress (and the "The Elder" title). If that's over 2 years, you don't keep the reward.
