how do u sell a planet?

 i dont see how to sell a planet. doesnt work for me. i tried sharing, then leaving a legion. how do all the people on this site sell planets?

you either have to wait a week in the legion and share an enemy occupied planet, share an unoccupied planet, or share your planet and abandon it.

sharing enemy planet - wait 7 days (loyal) sharing unocc/your planet - wait 24 hours (since leaving old legion CMIIW) |

I believe the OP is trying to sell a planet he/she owns, but does not want to spend GP to abandon. If this is the case, the only way you would be able to do it is if someone else (a legionmate or friend) has the planet on their scans and they alert the planet to the buyer. Otherwise, gotta spend that $$.
