General Information

The Terran Outsiders begin their Era of Harvest: a period of aggressive colonization in contested territory. With their reach spreading faster than ever, it's clear that some new kind of technology is being used...

During the Era of Harvest, the following temporary effects apply to the entire Galaxy:
-Planet colonizations will sometimes cause the Archotage Power Grid effect.
-The Archotage daily mission will unlock after completing Ravyn's Return (Rank 500+)
-Players of Rank 20+ will sometimes find 'Universal Omni-Harvester' artifacts during planetary scans.

Universal Omni-Harvester Limited Item - Thanksgiving Starts an 'Omni-Harvest' event on a planet of your choice, boosting production on that planet by 20%. This event lasts for 7 days.

You may not be able to find archotage transmitters if the mission isn't open due to the change made to mission spawn npcs from daily missions.

If someone has found one and can dispell this being true it would be great. otherwise psa for anyone who didn't know and its clearly a stupid thing that should realy be fixed.

it's fine. obviously Dan got plenty more complaints about NPCs continuing to spawn when people didn't want them.

looks like the complaints were due to this NPC: http://galaxylegion.com/wiki/index.php/Strazi_Sentinel which was introduced in a daily mission in nov.2016.

just did a looksee to see which daily missions are affected by this:
* The_Archotage_(mission)
* The_Vvarix_Truth
* The_Lutuma_Report
* Crimson_Retaliation

you just have to decide which is more valuable to you .. the amplifiers .. or the transmitters. if you get a vision of time or a kriell ally .. you can do the archotage mission once then open it up again so you can keep finding transmitters. me, i just skipped doing the mission the first day .. found a dozen transmitters (enough to get the Architect medal and a few spares for planets with lush biospheres) and then will skip again near the end of the seasonal. no biggie.

Its not fine. The archotage mission is not comparable to the others as it does not spawn npcs that drop mission progression artis. Its npcs drop planet structures. You could do the mission all seasonal and not npc. or you could npc all seasonal and never to the mission and the lack of one would not stop you from doing the other. whereas in the other missions you must npc to complete the mission and you require only a finite number of npc drops to finish the mission entirely.

The logic for stopping the npcs from spawning does not hold in this case.

Its a case where it was unambiguously better before the 'fix.'

Move archotage back to the old system and keep the new system for mission which require X npcs to complete.

Meh. I'd prefer the system not have changed for any mission NPC. If you don't want the monster to spawn, finish the mission off. But, that's not the way things roll. Just a reap what you sow situation here.

Just making sure I am telling one of our members correctly that they can buy the Phase II, Ravyn Cloak Upgrade and use it even if they don't have their Ravyn Ally maxed yet.

if you want transmitters so badly, don't do the daily mission right away when the 20 hour timer is up. you can hunt for transmitters for a few hours, and then do the daily mission at the same time each day.
