This, Having more cargo space is similar to buying more lottery tickets. If you buy 100 tickets for one draw your 100 times more likely to win that particular draw, but you have the same chance as buying 1 ticket for 100 weeks and theirs nothing to stop you winning first time, at the lower ranks its just luck.
To put it into context I have 6850 cargo and get 4150 minerals an hour every morning I wake up to a full manifest of 30,500 mineral units which I sell for between 900m - 1.2b but during the day I sell my minerals every hour recieving 100-170m per hour, I get the same ratio no matteh how may I save and use etc...
