Okay, so my Legion has been lucky the last couple of days with Elites showing up - but I noticed something very odd with the XP rewards when they die.
The 3 top damage players get a reward artifact and some XP
- but the XP rewards are not equal (for example: one player gets 110xp, the other two only get 100xp)
- now you would think that the highest XP reward goes to the player that does most damage to the Elite
- but you would be wrong! It seems that it is always the highest-rank player who gets the highest XP reward, even if they did the least damage.
I have seen this several times now and it seems very strange - WHY doesn't the highest XP reward go to the person who did the most damage?

They have an experience boost, such as by being Human or having a Neural Interface on.

the only times players get bonus xp is if they have the human bonus, or if they have a neural interface up. i used to wonder the same thing, and then be sad when i saw 2 or 3 legionmates get higher bonuses than me. then when i realized it showed the adjusted bonuses cause they were humans, i felt stupid. pretty much the xp rate is the same for everyone, but if they have a modifier up, like human or neural interface, or rsl implant then it will show the adjusted rate on the payout window.

+10% for Humans +10% for RSL Memory Implant +15% for Neural Interface
Combined: +21% Humans with RSL Implant (1.1 x 1.1 = 1.21) +26.5% Humans with Neural Interface (1.1 x 1.15 = 1.265) +26.5% Non-Humans with RSL Memory Implant and Neural Interface (1.1 x 1.15 = 1.265) +39.15% Humans with RSL Memory Implant and Neural Interface (1.1 x 1.1 x 1.15 = 1.3915)
remember... in this game, any percentage bonuses are multiplied together (most games add them)
