I thought you had to wait a week to deposit energy to the base?
I arrived at Battlestar Hades today to trade, and promptly deposited 15 energy - okay, no big deal - but I'm pretty sure I shouldn't have been able to. Can anyone confirm that there is supposed to be a waiting time?

There is no waiting time to contribute to a base. The only timers for the base are 24 hours to receive resource shipments and 7 days to get access to the CTLab if built.

When I travelled, I found that:
24 hour wait for shipments AND base deposits.
7 day wait for CT lab use.

Nope. Literally just arrived.

Had you contributed anything to your old base? I thought Dan said there was a wait of a week to contribute to a new base if you had contributed to a different one.

I recall reading something like that as well.

Uh. My old-old base, from before I changed legions. I'm guessing that that does not count - only the most recent one.

Yes, I've contributed heavily to my legion's base and was still able to contribute to the base belonging to the legion I am visiting immediately upon joining.

only other wait time i know.... is if the new legion has a higher level base requiring a higher lvl logistics research... for instance... i have 3 more weeks till i can contribute to my base again, now that it's lvl 6... it requires at least one completion of dimensional logistics

FYI: Its a week from your previous contribution, not the length of time between legions.

This explains it.
