your legion's leader might be high enough level that he'd want it... if he doesn't want the ctp, try making a post in the trading forum here... (you have to click on the galaxy pub forum to find the trading forum... make sure to click on the trading forum before posting... Baci doesn't like trade posts in the pub)

oh by the way.... none of the items obtained from cashing in Artifact Points give CTP... so it would have had to been either your Planetary Aegis (which i think doesn't give CTP, but rather credits if scrapped), or it's a mission reward or npc dropped item

It definitely wasn't a mission reward, so I know it had to be either an NPC drop or...

I just found it, it was a "T.O. Harmonic Pulser".

Also aegis shields aren't scrappable .

ah... ok then... yeah... the regular T.O. Harmonic Pulser isn't very valuable..... at your rank, shields aren't very valuable anyway...

the only thing you'll want to research shields for would be planetary defense modules (don't let that confuse you!! lol)
you'll want hull, attack, and defense for your ship (not to mention scan so you can find more planets)

Also, to sell the CTP I'm assuming I need to switch to the buyer's legion temporarily?

no.. if you can get your legion leader to convince the other legion leader to agree to a Trade pact, you can easily trade minerals and artifacts with anyone in that other legion without leaving your own legion (but we have no easy way to talk to the other legion, sadly)

alternatively.... once you find someone on the forum to make a trade with, get their facebook info and add them as a facebook friend... and you can then find them under the friends tab when trading
