its an NPC that gives a good reward I guess based on the mission info(I am not eligible for it, but it says battle right after the icon for the shreiker, and it takes no debris or anything from NPC's to complete, so doing the mission lets you battle a crimson shreiker) As soon a sI finish Zolazin battle once Im doing crimson confrontation. I said once because who needs to change their race/proffesion 2x?

It looks like it may be 5 battles with Shrieker. Has anyone battled yet ?

nope, but on my way to. Ive completed 2/20. And based on mission breifing there is further evidence it unlocks a battle with a NPC called the crimson shreiker.

I'd like to know *HOW* it unlocks the battle though.

  • Does it add an extra NPC battle slot with the Shrieker in it? If so, does the slot become permanent? Dan did say more slots would be coming.
  • Or does it replace an existing NPC? What if you had been battling the NPC and had almost destroyed it? Or even worse, what if it was a rare NPC that you had almost destroyed?
  • Or does it simply unlock the chance to randomly find one in your existing NPC slots?

I'm at 3/20 right now. I'm going to concentrate on the Shrieker once i've finished off the Zolazin.

It just appears in slot 3. Once you kill it, the slot disappears. It does not affect any of the current NPC's you got.

So you've killed one? Gonna dish the dirt on what it does? :P

I'm glad it adds an extra slot, even if the slot isn't permanent. Perhaps they're using this misson to test the third slot works before they release it as part of a future update.

Yes. The spawn was much more weaker than the normal spawned overpowered NPC that just hits me more than I hit them.

Do you recall what level it is, How much attack, defense, shields, or hulls it has ?

Just got access to it. Haven't killed it yet though. Spoiler below:

I agree with Barracuda, it's weaker than I was expecting. It's a level 50 ship with a cool looking shield. 200 attack, 400 defence, 300 shields, 300 hull.

The Crimson Armory is a better NPC stat-wise, and it has a good loot drop, but it's twice the level of the Shrieker, so i'm not very hopeful with this NPC.

I just killed him (I did pretty wqell actually in the fight, its a (begin color 313131)lvl 50 NPC with 200 atack 400 defense 300 sheilds and 300 hull.), it gives you the (begin 313131)Crimson Phase Launcher, 75 attack for one planetary space
Thats a good reward if you ask me, and I got a stryll hunter uncommon when I killed the shreiker :P
