I was just wondering is your ship upkeep based on all ship modules you have even if they aren't installed? I uninstalled some modules and I dont see any change in the amount I'm charged for my daily upkeep.

Yes you still pay upkeep for Uninstalled modules.

but... if the module is fully damaged and the button says "Repair" instead of "Install".... only THEN you won't be paying upkeep on that module

By the way.... (in case anyone is wondering) hull repair costs are based on your upkeep....

( ( max hull - current hull ) / max hull ) * ( unmodified upkeep / 6 ) = repair cost


note: above equation uses unmodified upkeep... if you're a builder, multiply your current upkeep by 2 to get your unmodified upkeep
