kills not counting?

 i've just disabled some ships player and none player but it does'nt seem to be counting as i need to kill a certain amount to do some missions but the numbers not going down?
oh and how do i look at my own stats? planets scanned players killed etc? |

I think I know ytour problem. That number is not how many left, it is how many TOTAL you need to kill. Go to ship tab, and press veiw ship stats.
