If I part complete the special missions like the Xecti recrud one, say I do 8 out of 15 times before the timer runs out. What happens when the mission becomes a standard one? Will I be able to do all 15 runs or just 8 I didn't do or not have access at all?

It saves your progress, but you need to finish them off sequentially.
