Player goes missing off battle tab

 I'm just about to finish a player off (hopefully) but my hull is low so I go and repair it , when I come back to the battle tab the player I was fighting has disappeared.
What am I missing? |

a single attack against a player (hacks don't count) is enough to bump them from your battle tab... if you're going to attack someone, finish them off before swapping tabs

What am I missing? Next time it happens, right click your home page, and open a new tab.
