So did I.
However those that can answer the question will probably not be looking in the Beginer's Hub. I'm rank 117 what rank are you?
Look under Strategy because people have answered my thread.

Is there anything special one must do to see an NPC other than a Zolazin associated from that specian mission or a STANDARD/COMMON ?

This is what the cache does (gives you 8 hours of all your production in one swoop. ie 8hrs worth of research, mining, and artifacts)

Woot? Its the only one that lasts. Nocifer noticed one in the early morning and I got in starting with nearly zero energy. Barely though.

Heh, I had made it a rule to DOO to STOP doing excessive damage once locked in for loot. As for Dark Ring, it drops 10 loot means a member should stop at 10% once see lock symbol appears to allow other DOO players to have chance at loot to maximize the loot return.

I added new NPC rule of engagement into the DOO charter item 3. a. quoted,
"a. In order to maximize the loot and experience return from NPC sharable encounters to power DOO up in fast time possible, a member does enough damage to lock in loot is encouraged to STOP to allow other DOO members chance at the loot. For example, for NPC with 10-loot drops, DOO member is encouraged to stop at 10% once locked in. If NPC gives 10 loot drops then goal is maximized and achieved. "

It really helps to slow down NPC deaths to give everyone chance at loot. That's why my Dark Ring finally lasted over an hour instead of matter of minutes and I'm pretty happy with it. You were able to get the loot due to that new rule. :) But the reason why that NPC encounter was unexpected for you because I announced that I was going to share my Dark Ring in DOO forum 8 hours ahead of time so they were prepared to take it down if they were saving up the energy..

NPC with 3 loot drops are still going down FAST even when player stops at 34% (under the rule) to lock in but there are easy to have another two to get involved to finish it off in matter of seconds..

You could probably help noobs get loot better without the "locked in" policy. Just let 10 people attack it and have someone destroy it. they would also get a ridiculous xp return. Like 40-50x. I find it pointless to go past the lock-in amount unless I'm trying to keep someone out/in. NPCs are probably the best reason to never empty your energy. You can kind of skimp in some instances. If three people have 26%, the remainder isnt enough for anyone else
