I swear structural expanders increased special space by 1 level - not by 1? I just added one to our base and got a whopping 1 extra space... what a waste of GP.

Nope, one space. While it is only 1 space, we are maxed out at the moment and would kill for more special space.

you get 5 special spaces per level, and are allowed to add 5 structural extenders per level, for a total 10 special spaces per level
likewise
you get 10 tactical (regular) spaces per level, and are allowed to add 10 tactical extenders per level, for a total of 10 tactical (regular) spaces per level)

Aye, I get very little GP, so it just seemed way too expensive just to do 1 space.

hehe... yah i agree, it's quite expensive, isn't it... $4-6 for permanant +1 tactical space... $8-12 for permanant +1 special space
