Post subject:  Time Manipulators?

Hey all,

I was wondering if Time Manipulators can reset the timer for invading? The description says it resets hack, raid, repair, and trade timers. I remember there was some kind of artifact that can reset the 24 hour invasion timer. If not Time Manipulator then what is it?

its from a mission that uses time manipulators to create an artifact that "removes any active timers" on anything that has a timer

Repeatable or "limited times" mission?

Wait, what do you mean? A limited mission, or a mission that can be done a certain ammount of times?

Repeatable missions = Missions like the XTS-9 one, repeatable an infinite amount of times.

Limited times = Regular missions that end after X completions.

Im just taking my best geuss and saying limited, havent seen(i do know about it though) that mission, hopefully coth will say for sure

I've had Time Manipulators. They don't work. I shared them and the people who got them had no luck, either.
Support gave me two to replace the defective ones, but the replacements didn't work either. Haven't seen one since then.

I just experimented with one to see if it did just that, reset the invasion timer... it did not. It resets all timers that affect YOUR SHIP.

I ended up critically failing the invasion and lost an engineer. :evil:

The Time Manipulator artifact does exactly what it says it does. Nothing more, nothing less.

So if you have a timer active on any of those four things, the timer will be reset/cleared. The artifact does not affect any other timers.



And yes, there is a small chance of critical failure on a planet invasion. Dan said that it is about a 1/20 chance.
