OK so here is the scenario: I have a person in my legion who is leaving the game (he is in the military and has been called to duty) and he wants to give his planets and resources to the other members in our legion.

so how does this get accomplished IN AS FEW STEPS AS POSSIBLE..

he can easily send his CTP EM and creds to other legions mates via trade function
planet, he'll have to abandon them.

the only way to do that is the share-leave-rejoin procedure. and with the 12 hour share cooldown, it would take a long time no matter what.
it would be a good idea for him to give his account to someone he trust(who play the game) to do this for him

This will not work.

correct,... shares are wiped when the person that shared leaves the legion
also, if the person that shared stays and the receiver leaves, the receiver can no longer target the planet because he no longer has access to the share


the only way to do it without hunting down someone else that has them on scan is for him to abandon (thus destroying all artis left on the planets, so use mylarai extractors to save the good stuff like the new +10% planet production modules).... .....of course this will take a while because there is a timer between abandons
