Questions about abandoning a planet

OK
question1: when you abandon a planet by paying the 5gp does it keep it scan in your database so you can share it to people?
and
question2: if said planet has passive bonus like attack or defense or cloak are those lost when it is abandoned or does the planet retain them?

Yes you keep it on your scans and it keeps the abilities.
