Im debating on buying the 550 GP for 53$ CAD. the description says ill be getting 65% EXTRA.... is that somehow already calculated so ill be getting ONLY 550, or will i be getting 550 PLUS 65% for a total of ~850 ?? I already tried doing a search of the forums but 'facebook credits' returns nothing because its too common.

Yes you will get 550GP but go to your facebook settings

The extra is already calculated (I believe it is in relation to if you bought the lowest possible amount of GP), so if you use 500 Facebook Credits, you will get 550 GP.

first (as someone else has tried but didn't completely mention)...

if you don't have enough facebook credits (FBC), don't purchase from directly in the game....
either go to your facebook account settings or in the facebook Apps ticker to the right of the game hover over "See All" then in the popup click "Get More"
Purchase your facebook credits THERE to ensure FACEBOOK gives you the maximum bonus possible for your facebook credit purchase (for $50, you will receive 550 FBC!!!)
(Facebook's bonus credits are calculated weird and from within games they don't always give you the maximum bonus possible that they'd give from outside the game)


NOW... AFTER purchasing your facebook credits....
in-game when you are redeeming them for Galaxy Points (GP)....

the GP values listed in that window already include the +% bonus GP...

notice the first button is 20 GP for 30 FBC.. this is the game's "standard" rate... that's 2/3 GP per FBC
now... the next button is 40 GP for 50 FBC.. (20% bonus)... well.. if 30 FBC gave 20 GP... then regular rate would be 50 FBC giving 33.333 GP... instead we're getting 40 GP...
40 / 33.333 = 1.2,... that's your 20% bonus points
