I recently scanned a crystal planet, which according to the wiki only comes from using some artifact which gives +1 size, +2 richness to all types on the planet it is used on. However, the planet has the following stats : Size: Average Mining:Abundant Artifact:Ultra Rich Research:Very Abundant Can anyone explain to me why someone would use an artifact which gives the aforementioned bonuses on a planet with the stats below? small, mining :very sparse artifact: very rich research: sparse |

Actually, it would have started out as Small:Sparse/VeryRich/Average, but yeah... Some people do silly things sometimes... |

maybe. but the gamma crystalysers used to be able to be pulled from artifacts. |

yes, so were mass surface melters and terraformers. back around the time when alien star charts existed. |

I wish they came back as AP drops but I know that won't happen again. Things are normally taken away and not given back. As for the planet, yeah I have found a few like that with no owners. Just means they lost it when they stopped playing. |
