Hi

I just started and would like to know how you trade planets? If another person wants your planet, how do you give it to them? Should they be in same legion or not etc.

Help much appreciate, getting hooked on game

To do such a thing, you must share a planet, which is only aviliable to you once you are loyal to the legion you are currently in, that means you must be in the legions for 7 days or more.
To share a planet, go to the planet tab, select the specific planet, on the action tab there is an "alert legion" button. Click it. there is a 12 hours cooldown between each two shares.
Only planets that are enemy occupied or non-colonized may be taken by your legion mate. They cannot attack/invade your planet in any way or form(if you leave the legion after the share so it becomes "enemy" to them, it WILL be removed from the alert so can no longer be targetted) You may abondon a planet you own to make it non-colonized. However, any permant effect on the planet AND all structures will be lost if you do so.

Trading of a planet will obviously require the seller or the buyer to move to the legion of the seller/buyer respectively, and in the case the seller is the one that made the transfer, will have to wait for the 7 day loyalty period. After that, all it takes is for the seller to alert the planet as above described.

Do note, however, that trading of planet is NOT a function built into the game and does NOT come with a gurantee of payment(that is, you can be scammed and the GM(dan) will probably do nothing about it, because I think he's against planet trade in general so....) Therefore, only trade with people you trust. Generally, selling a planet to members of top 10 legion would be pretty safe, but anything beyond that..... you can't be so sure.
