Does changing race/profession effect the missions you do or any mission chains you work on? If so which ones are missions that could be effected by a change of race/prof?

changing race or profession can help some missions that require a stat to be at or above a certain level, since your race and profession can actually cause a modification in your stats... but generally speaking this is a poor reason to waste a race change,... if you can't do a mission right now, save it for later... you'll eventually have stats high enough for it...

also.. changing race affects the mission briefing avatar in many missions and the race name that appears in many missions... but this is just cosmetic

also, if you change to Aerlen, there are 2 missions that only appear for them.... very easy newbie missions... yet also a waste of a race change

I believe every race has a small starter training mission unique to them. I got the konqul mission after switching, so it stands to reason that switching to a race that you have not used gets you that race starting mission.

nope just those 2 races

well the picture beside the mission of your race's type of person changes and 1 race gets you more Xp which is human
