when these missions go from 'special' to 'normal' chains, do you still retain the completion level that you had finished it to from last time?

Lets say i finish it completely, will it just not show up for me when it finally becomes 'normal', or will I be able to 're' do the mission another 15 times..

and the opposite side of the coin is that i finish it 8 times and a bit( or just a flat 8 times), will i have it at the flat 8 completion, or 8 an d a bit?

It will stay exactly the same as you left it, so 8 and a bit, from your example.

thanks for the swift reply :) I've been sort of wondering about some of the other ones that ive started and havent finished.. wondering if they'll show up and stick out like a sore thumb since ive done atleast one click on nearly every mission in my list.

Hah, yeah, that's part of why it remembers, so you can't get double the rewards.
