OK, so apparently, there is a well-known glitch/bug that keeps getting exploited? Many players know about it, it's even so common that it's called "THE glitch" in this and other forums. Personally, I don't know what it is and I don't really care - I've been playing for a week without any in-game technical issues. If I found an issue, I wouldn't be afraid to report it, including details of how to re-create the condition. If I got blocked/banned for reporting it, I would be like "OK....? I guess I won't be playing THAT game anymore."
Maybe there is some backstory I'm not aware of, but every time someone brings it up, there is a flurry of cheating accusations, censorship, and flaming. Now, if I DARE ask: Why doesn't "Dan" (or whoever) just fix it? I'm not trying to flame or create a controversy. This is a serious question. It seems like such a strange response from everyone (the players, the developers, and the forum moderators) to be treating it this way?
Normal Existence: 1. Developers make game 2. Players report bugs 3. Developers fix the bug
The wierded out Galaxy Legion Existence: 1. Developers make game 2. Players report bugs 3. Mass hysteria
Now, this is an entirely separate issue from cheating. Every game will ALWAYS have cheaters, with or without glitches. The goal of the game is to make money, and not fixing bugs seems counter-productive to that goal?

the bugs have been reported, there is nothing we can do but wait for Dan to put in a patch...
yet the bugs remain in the game probably due to limitations in the current game or server design, or performance problems that would be caused by any implementations that would eradicate those bugs
