*shrugs* random analysis events don't occur often enough for any one person other than Dan to answer that... but i would assume analysis success/failure simply a fixed chance random roll |

Use a flux probe on it before you hit the analyse button (the voice of bitter experience). |

No-one has any information about how often you get an analysis. Planetary analysises have a 0% chance of success on the smaller planets. It is only confirmed that it happens on VS down, and it works on large planets. Best guess is that average planets don't analyse. That ^ is for the random analysis. The reality transfuser has a 100% chance of success I think. The only person I know to have had an analysis has had 2... |
