i like the new races zolazin and drannik (will become zolazin as soon as possible working on timed missions for now). ever since i did the mission where you need to fight the stryll seeker, Ive always thought it would be cool to play as a Stryll. 40% to scanning?. what are your guys' thoughts on future playable NPCs?

Well the Zolazin, and Drannik are playable. I suspect the Stryll will be playable at the end of the end of this saga. I would love to play as the Glaviz or the Prejor. Although both of those have already had a saga, I can see the Glaviz showing up and complaining about somebody stealing something else important. Maybe the Prejor show up again. I would love to play as an ancient and seemingly infinitely powerful race. Maybe capturing some ships would be nice...like a Crimson Blade, or a Lazuli Cruiser would be cool. Or, maybe play as another races starbase...that would be cool! Well any epic race would be good. More races will show up eventually, so we will see.

well yeah it'd be fun to be a Prejor, who are hyped up to be insanely powerful, but Dan already poo-pooed that idea in a different thread. Even if he did have a change of heart, we'd just be disappointed as chances are the bonus that being a PC Prejor would grant would undoubtedly fall short of our expectations.

As for the Glaviz, I'm not sure if there is an official reason why they can't eventually become unlockable. Sure the wiki describes them as being isolationist in nature, but they just banished their former leaders for the whole impersonating god thing, so it's reasonable that either the leaders reorganize into a galactic power over the course of time or even that the new Glaviz government takes a new approach to outsiders. Probably have to wait and see with them

(heh, Dan could probably even tie the fate of the 'Glaviz as PC' backstory into that suggestion to make a pair of timed missions that count each completion as a 'vote')
