All I know right now is (normal defense+attack) x 3 = Planet Overall
Which is also what you need at least to invade

So can someone explain the invasion defense formula?

normal defense + .6 of normal attack i beleive

i thought ID is just
Planet atk(after legion modifer)+planet def(after legion modifier)+invasion def(after legion modifier, u can't find the post-modifier number anywhere so you have to calculate this yourself)

and the chance is IA/(ID*3) capped at 90%

IA is invasion attack, which is ur (regular_attack(post buff)+invasion_attack)*invasion_attack_modifer(atomsphere decimater)

note that the modifeier is 1.07^2 if there are two decimater, 1.07^3 if there are 3.... dunno if there are others
invasion_atk includes the invasion atk only bonus from all kinds of module.

Please please.... Stop with the .6 formula. I don't know where it came from or why people keep quoting it, but its meaningless.


Here's the Invasion Calculation.

Percent Chance = [(Total Invasion Attack) / (3*Total Invasion Defense)]*100

Total Invasion Attack is your (standard attack*buffs + invasion attack from mods)*invasion %buffs like atmospheric decimators

Total Invasion Defense = (Planet Defense + Planet Offense + Invasion Defense Structure) Remember that Invasion defense structures get legion bonus as well.

Yeah, Jawwa is pretty good with the info. We'll ignore this one little thing and won't let it tarnish his rep... ;)

Oh man... I was hoping for a tiny weapons battle. :P

Flag, I got it from the really big long thread that talked about working out the invasion formula. Obviously with experience taking planets I've formed my own opinions. But it is actually nestled in that big long thread.
