Ok I'm a newbie here, I've been trying to stay under the radar here but, now that I'm level 28 here, my missions for PVP are way to high for me to do them missions/-(........I really don't want to PVP new players without a clan. My question here is, Should I have got them PVP kills before level 20?

It seems every time I advance in rank.. the NCP players out rank me by 100's of shields and hit points. The missions now want me to have two NPC kills..I have none and it dose not look as if I will ever match an NPC here to my level. WTF should I do? Seems I'm at a disadvantage now with the new PVP match rule here ;-D :?:

Hey Iric just a hint I don't know if you know this or not but if you attack a NCP it's shields do not recharge. So you can hit it all day and I'm sure you will be able to take it down at some point in the time it gives you. Also at your rank PVP is easy. Just load up on guns and hull and attack someone who isn't in a alliance. I would try to find a good alliance as well. Look at the Legion page here and see if any of those would fit your playing style. You may not like PVP but getting some kills is the only way to advance in the game so you need to do some fighting. Hope this helps.

ok ty, Guess I'll just have to wait to advance in weapons....I've been spending most of my level points in decks and cargo. My research is only 79 an hour so, it has been slow for me. Once I'm able to cloak what crappy planets I have, I'll work on weapons. :ugeek: I'll hang in there :D

Glad to hear it I would hate to see a new comer leave so early in the game. Glad you asked the question and if there is anything else you want to add let us know. I'm sure someone would be more than glad to help out.

Also at your rank what cloak you do get won't do you much good yet. I would say try to get up to the Ion cannon or at least get some good defense before going to heavy in cloak. Not saying that it isn't helpful it really is but I would only go to Negative Refraction before rank 60 or so. You won't need it to much before then because if someone wants your world they will take it regardless. At that rank you can start to put up a good fight for it and then cloak will become more important. No matter how much cloak you put on a world at your rank it will not be what you need to keep most of the other players in the game from finding it. Hope this makes since and that I'm not stepping on any toes here but that is how I see it.

Do not waste any space on cloaking or defending crappy planets. Anything less than large and rich is not worth taking so maximize your resource production on it. If someone takes a crappy planet thank them. You can also join a legion that has some higher level players in it. I have given away a couple large extremely abundant gas planets because I already have too many gas planets.
