I'm wondering on a couple of things.
Reading the description "The bonus doubles if used on a 'New Colony' that YOU recently invaded." makes me think that if you use a time vortex, and THEN install one, you do NOT get double the bonus... seems simple, but im still wondering.. we've all had late nights gaming and clicked the wrong button before..( I once purged a planet I used 2 CCM's on, because i wanted to debuff defence... ask me how mad I was)

Also wondering how it works on a planet that already has it, and you invade it..
Scenario 1
assuming they used it correctly and it was giving 4 mining and 200 population.
What does it do when I steal the planet.. 4,200, or 2,100..

and lets assume they used it wrong... do I need to extract it/or demolish it, and re install one to get the bonus, OR, does it increase because the planet now has the 'new colony' moniker.

Q1 - If you use a ptv, then you will not get the double bonus, as its no longer a new colony.

Q2 - If you steal the planet, the structure remains in its original condition.(Unless of course your unlucky enough to get the "an assimilation locus was destroyed during the invasion" message.

Q3 - If the person you steal the planet from has used it wrong, then yes, you will need to extract the locus, and then re-place it.

If you invade, and place when it's at NEW COLONY and RECENTLY INVADED it's bonuses double.

If you take a planet, with it being 2, 100, It does NOT automatically become 4,200. You will have to extract and put it on again BEFORE time vortexing.

IF you take a planet, and it's already 4, 200, It stays 4, 200.

thanks fellas. I was pretty sure that my understanding was correct. but you never know with some of the wordings and the way a CPU might figure things.. I've been using them correctly and haven't had the chance to steal any planets with them on them, that I can remember.

and FYI, u can send a support ticket to dan to get accidentally purged planets back on ur list~
He was nice enough to do it for me when I accidentally purged a planet after using my(at the time) last OMD, and purger moved up one on the list and... well... u got the rest~

thou u will need to try and remember as much detail as u can about the planet~

I'm pretty sure I can remember the planets name, but its no big deal... im sure the player has upgraded the defence and then some.
I've got others to steal and I'm not exactly hurting
