Not sure why it says that "Planetary defenses were strong enough to ward off your advance" if the planet's defense IS zero. Can anyone explain how the chance is calculated?

planet attack reduces your chance of invasion as well |

Your invasion chance is equal to your invasion attack divided by 3 times the sum of the planet defense, planet attack and planet invasion defense structures AFTER the legion bonus. Maxed at 90%. So... you ended up with a 12% chance. Assuming no invasion defense structures on the planet, 3x the sum would be 774, which leaves you with an invasion attack of about 93? .12=93/(3*(0+258+0)) |

BUT legion bonus DOES apply to them. |
