ok here is my conundrum, I have a really nice colossal, 20X mega research plasma, (started off as a very rich very massive gas) its my best planet. I just finished the research for Hypernode Brain (12 research) and im not sure if i should use Trellith Structural Energizer on my 2 production buildings to bring them up to 24 each. I only have 5 energizers because i foolishly didn't do more of the mission. My plasma already produces 739.2 research per hour (Xecti Signal Repeater Effect : Research +10%).
But, the problem is, i really dont need any more research. I am Kronyn at the moment, so i am upgrading my research that way anyway. My productions are... mining - 4829, research - 6080, artifact - 3272. My next planet down is a large tox 15X mining, and down from that is a massive 6X gaia artifact.
Should i wait for my research for artifact structures, make a very large toxic 15X with purifiers, or something else?
This hardly belongs in beginner but i couldn't think of where else it could go.

most high ranks will agree that you should upgrade +12 arti structures on an amazing artifact planet

if you can see yourself getting your hands on a Mega Colossal 20x art planet then that is what you will want to use them on
unless at some point you plan on getting rifted planets

the mission dyson and exotic are also decent choices for this

and a little side note, you can make toxics 16x if you use a purifier on a 14x toxic
colonize rich or very abundant toxics to do this

I used some of mine on the +12 research on my mission exotic(my best planet) when it was still 15x 15x 20x(so research was the best) then the next mission came out and let me make the planet 20x 20x 20x, but I can't just take off the +24 research and replace it with a new +24 artifact, because then I'd've just wasted two energizers...though in retrospect I do regret using them on research instead of artifact

point is, don't use them on anything you're not going to like down the road, using them on a maxed artifact planet is really the way to go, but hey, you get 20 of them right? and the way things look now, that mission chain will open up from the start pretty soon(it'll stop being a timed mission chain)

heh i'm still working on the mylarai mission chain... General consensus is to use it on arti production. guess its best to wait then.
Is my production reasonable for rank 349? I've upgraded very few of my planets to the +12 production buildings, just cuz im broke.

don't worry about that, I'm close to double your rank and still haven't upgraded all planets to the +12s (only the best planets and new planets get them) it's not worth the upgrade cost, and your research is good for now, you should work on you mining(to keep up with future upkeep) and then put most everything in to artifact
