Post subject:  Not too sure how to go on from here....
Hey guys,

im a fairly low rank and hitting 100 made me question what to seriously do next. i do prefer to NPC and get rares/uncommons but i d mission or pvp from time to time should i feel like it. made some mistakes with rp allocation but i think ive corrected most of the damage (pony says im wrong on this)

Before you do anything else pvp to get your final dom mark 3's and proteans. Pvp gets much harder as you increase in rank.

Yup. Trying to get my Doms at 260. It's hellish. Your production spread looks good though.

I had about 80 saved up. I have about 30 left in the time it took to get 1 dominion.

Had an inkling about that. What about my research? What should I be researching next? Also should I be allocating more decks towards def, att, hull, or even scan for easier pvp targets or rare npcs? Also im starting to get a few silvers and wondering if I should go for bm50s or surge plexi? And pvping is boring lol havebeen doing it for the past tenlevels but I do see your point.

Planet wise should I start going for higher ratios of arti planets instead of research planets? Or even get afew more mining planets? Afew more details could help or even examples of how you guys coped as you start getting into the mid levels of the game

Finish the reactors you are doing, then do defence up to Overlays. Then, do Antiprotons and Deep Core Neutroniums. Other then that, not a bad ship at all :)

That was me at 101. You seem to be doing great as far as research is concerned, although I'd bring your defences up.

You don't need more than 50 scan for NPC at your level though. Bring your scan down.

Get the rest of your hulls on pretty quickly, then a defence, then the rest of your attack modules. Then the rest of your defences. Worked for me.

Depends on how many nulls fuses/trap probes you have... My last dominion I'm going to have to do with 0 of both of those, which will be fun...

I did a 30-kill blitz with 3 nulls at hand to get my Insane rep. Ran out on my very last kill lol

As far as planets go you should get your mining up to at least 1k if not higher then start going 1 research (very massive gas is the best so you can plasma it at higher levels) 1 mining (very large toxic's which wil be upgraded eventually to an EVEN number so 16x not 15x) 2 arti (no real best worlds with this one I don't think just anything large rich +).

Terra's and Oceanics are the best Artifact worlds, particularly the Terra's.

Terra's and Oceanics are the best Artifact worlds, particularly the Terra's.

No by best worlds what I meant was the best upgradeable ones if that makes sense.

soo.....im approaching rank 135, and im about to go for a scan run since i have a few planets to conquer. in the process of getting tachyon sensors and purging hopefully till i get below 90 planets scanned in total. other than that, just to check up on status. i plan to get dark energy once my scan run is done but after that i frankly have no idea. im debating fermionics/ +10 structures/ energy nulls/ nulls/ or even going for obviations lvl 1.

Current Stats as below:

Ship Modules: Decks: 734
Weapons: Heavy ANtiprotons x 5, mk3's x 4, auto phasers x 3
Energy: zero reactors x 2, transconduits x 4, q pedd servo, FATHER x 2 (sprung for these thanks to lots of surveys :D)
Sensors: Stryll Transponders x 2, Decrypt Quad Frame, Stryll Hunt Sensor, Sha'din Supercomputer x 2
Hull: Deep Core Neutronium x 3, Proteans x 3, Vortul Plating x 2
Shields: (Practically nothing)
Cloaking: Cipherbot, Zolazin Jammer
Defenses: Quantum Overlay Engine mk 3, Dark Ring Thruster

Did jump about 8 ranks in 1 day due to having a fair few e cubes and tri mats locked up. I went for a bit of the zolazin chain to unlock te extra 2 NPC slots. slowing down now to let research (and moniez) catch up.

I'd say go into researching shields. If you can get past Disruption and into Rift (it's a bit of research), you can get Planetary Shields for your planets.

Those will last you all the way until rank 200-ish...

How far? Up to Energy Nullifiers or to the next stage beyond that? Or just simply place more defensive modules into my build to move away from the 3: 1 att:def ratio to say a 2:1?
