Can anybody tell me who the Hallow's Bane are? I realize that they are supposed to be for Halloween, but how do you find them, and if you defeat them do you get any good rewards? |

I've gotten a weapon artifact and a trap from them. Neither one is particularly amazing. I can't remember if they were named different, but there you are. |

They are an uncommon NPC that spawns randomly on the battle tab you get a limited edition artifact for beating one |

Size 12. Attack +30. Invasion +30. Basically the exact same thing as the Psionic Amplifier, but with 2 more size (so not as good). Ack. Limit 4. |

The psionic amplifier is +60 vs planets, not +30. These things are like having a pocketful of heavy ion cannons. Nice if that's about where you are in the tech tree, but otherwise it's not a good use of space. |

However, they are good to hold onto when you've maxed out on 8 of the best weapons and want more attack. At some point, you will wish you had the extra +120 they give you (in a slot that has nothing else to put in it). |

Even if they're just uncommon, i've not encountered any yet, and i've spent over 2000 energy on fighting NPC's in the last two days. I hope I find some soon. Since they're unique weapons, this will be the only shot at getting them. |

Yeah, what kind of scanning power did you guys have when you found them, because I have 218, and have not found even one Hallow's Bane ship. I heard they don't even have a cloak value, and am getting annoyed. |

Does the effectiveness of the Bane Emitter increase with my rank, as I just recieved one and it's stats don't match up to those already discused on this thread. Mine will give Size: 10, Attack: 20, Invasion: 20 |

Ah i'm a lowly rank 43, It seems I have a plain old Bane Emitter and not a Charged Bane Emitter, perhaps thiers a cutoff where you gain a charged one. |

There probably is a cutoff for it. A few other items have done that before, like the Genetarr Transmitter that gets upgraded to a Mark II Genetarr Transmitter if it is FIRST installed when you're rank 50 or above. I've actually managed to get a Charged Bane Emitter now, and i've got another Bane enemy in my NPC list that i'm killing at the moment. I've got next to no scan, so it's not about scanning, it's just about praying to the random number generator goddess. I'm rank 154 so the cutoff is before that point lol. Thanks for telling us about the non-Charged Bane Emitter, Fliteg, i've just added it to the wiki. |

You can only scrap them by installing them first, so if you get 4 at a low level, it would be smart to stop fighting bane revenants and not install the emitter. I think they get bigger upon installation too. |

Maybe we should complain to Webguydan that it's not spawning very well. I have 227 scanning power now, and still have not found one. |

I have 22 of their weapons including the ones on my ship as well as 47 traps I get them all the time. About every 12th NPC is one for me. I don't think scan has anything to do with it but I may be wrong on that. Also mine is size 12 with 30 to each at rank 414. |
