Looking at planet structures I have a question. It does not add up unless there is something I don't know. A +3 building takes 9 space A +4 building takes 11 space If you build two +3 it takes 18 space but if you build a +4 you only have room for +2 left. Thus you end up with +6 for each....As Ive leveled up the tech and I replace ole with new it seems that the final + is the same? Is there something I am missing? Thanks. |

Better buildings only work effectively if you can use more of the bigger buildings then you had smaller, or use them with chassis instead of worse buildings. AKA Getting better buildings, is offset by using them with worse buildings then you had before. To the point in which that in some cases then even out. |

Ship equipment goes up on the effects faster than it does on the weight. But planet structures go up +1 effect and +2 space each level. |

If you are replacing several building, it may work out. Replace 6 +3 building with 5 +4 for instance (need 1 more space to do it) But generally, until you get to the +8 building, it doesn't pay unless you are using more of your space. |

Sometimes it is just a matter of space. Sometimes you have the extra space for a +5 vs a +4. Other times if you are not planning to upgrade to a +6 for a long time, it is worth upgrading everything to +5. While I didn't follow this advice, someone suggested ignoring every other upgrade. From what I've seen, that does make some sense. So if you have +4, skip upgrading old building to +5 and just upgrade them to +6 (or at the very least, don't worry about upgrading the +5 mining/artifact and just focus on upgrading the research so you can make it to +6 faster). |

mining is great if you have a 2x planet for it aka 200%+ 100%+ bonuses= ALOT OF STUFF XD! |
