I picked a race and career and now am thinking I want to do a better strategy. Is there any way to restart or reset so I can choose over again?

You can't restart now. You can change race anytime using 20 Galaxy Points (you start with 10)

GP can be bought or won through daily reward.

Aww, that stinks. You have to pick before you have any sense what the different abilities are worth.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind losing everything and starting from scratch. I tried deleting the program from facebook and resigning up and it was still there. I played another game that gave class/profession bonuses, and they allowed you to reset your account at any time, their reasoning being that you don't really know what you want your game play strategy to be and how the bonuses fit in to that until you've played the game a little.

I'd be happy to reset both your races :)

Send me a PM with your name.

I'm not certain if I should thank you or curse you for creating such a fun and addicting game... but the deeper I get into the game the more I realize I should have played my opening levels completely differently. If the offer is still open I'd like a wipe too. (It must be a Philadelphia thing.)

Sure sure. Note that I am only able to reset your race & profession.... but send me a PM if that works for you.

Ahhh.... I was hoping to wipe my ship and start over at level 1. I'm only a few days in and can recoup in less now that I know what I'm doing. I was thinking of taking the same race/profession combination... but not dumping the first 5 levels of experience into scientists. :)

I tried to remove Galaxy Legion from my application page but when I reconnected it hadn't mad a difference.

Can you do a clean erase or is that too difficult? (I was debating creating a FB account just for games anyway)

The game does not yet have a quick way to reset all-data, no.

Well bummer. Thanks for the rapid response. If there ever is a way to delete an account drop me a line.
Hmmm, now how best to turn my research vessel into something effective...

You think there might ever be a way to REALLOCATE your stat points? either by someway in game or thru GP?

Perhaps. It would not be foolproof. There are many ways to get crew, decks, and cargo in the game without actually using Rank Points. (Winning from the wheel, artifacts, daily reward, etc) - and those points wouldn't be eligible to reset into Rank Points.

that would still be awesome to have even if you lose those bonus's.. because i've put alot of points into other places that at the start was good but now is not... i think allmost EVERYONE that's been playing awhile agrees that they put to many into one place and not enough in another

I have mixed feelings about it.Wanting to re-allocate because we didn't understand the stats, or because we want to build for a different strategy is fine and I agree with it completely. Wanting to rebuild because a stat is pointless in the end means a stat is unbalanced. (This is based on several of the high level players who believe anything other than decks is wasted.)

I'm happy with my race and profession. It's just that I was foolish in the early level and would love to restart brand new.
On the other hand if you allowed people to do that many would and those like myself would have knowledge at the lower levels that most people joining the game didn't.

Well for me in the early 20 levels I dumped everything into defense and research. I then realize how great decks are and started doing decks only. To me, as long as you figure out what you want to do before a certain level you will be fine.
