Kronyn Datacubes can be sold for around 1k ctp, which is 10k kur, or 15B (yes, billion) credits. Not worth selling, as you'll only ever get 4. |

Nice but these are not gonna be useful for me for the moment but i'm gonna think about don't sell them |

And the key point in what you said is "at the moment." You won't need them now, but you will wish you hadn't sold them later on. The Kronyn Datacube is the the only artifact that has no resource-raising limit... For example: Race abilities can only raise planets to 15x MR, as well as terraformers Enumeration Crystals and Trellith Resequencers can only raise the availability to 20x MR. However, the Kronyn Datacube can raise it even past that. You can make a 69x MR research planet, if you do it right: If you scan a natural 48x MR, and make it a Rift, it becomes 63x MR. Then, you can use the datacubes to make it 69x MR. However, you cannot do that with any other artifact. I wasted all 6 of mine on a Massive Metallic that is now 4x MR. However, I'm regretting it already. I could have built a 23x MR plasma if I had waited: I'm making a 15x MR gas planet. I could use those datacubes to get it to 21x MR, then raise it to 23x MR using a Phasic Chain-Ionizer. Like I said, don't waste them or sell them. You'll regret it at a higher rank. |

All 6 take up less than 1 Tesseract Container's worth of cargo space. Best use for them if you don't find a high research natural dyson planet, is to farm Planet Data Optimizers or become Kronyn and boost a Very Massive Gas Planet to 15x. Make it a Plasma with the CT Lab item, then use the 6 Datacubes to end up with a Colossal 23x Research Plasma Planet. The process can take a while, but it is definitely worth the effort for low- to mid-rank players who still need a good bit of research. As for Rifting as the previous poster mentioned, you don't want to focus an invincible planet on research. Research is way too easy to replace if someone steals it. Rifting should ONLY be used for safe and secure artifact production. |
