Kurenite is also used by many Trading Groups as the standard currency for trading in Artifacts. 10 Exotic Matter equals 1 Kurenite. 10 Kurenite equals 1 Complex Tech Parts.

SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE !!!!

seriously ??

kurenite shows up on your list of minerals, like dynite and hydium. any artifacts that can be sent can be 'bought' for kurenite as the buyer can 'give' kurenite in exchange for the artifact(s) that the seller 'gives'.

exotic matter (EM) and complex tech parts (ctp) can be substitutes for kurenite (abbreviated KU) as they do not take up cargo space, and are used for building bases.

Once you get higher in rank, kurenite will start showing up in your mineral shipments. We use them as the main currency because of it's cost efficient space. 1.5M for 0.1 space. Exotic Matter will also show up in increasing amounts in your mineral shipments. They do not take up any space in your cargo and can be accumulated very easily. It is worth less than kurenite because of it's abundance. Complex Tech Parts, or CTP, is not as easily obtained so it is worth the most. The currency system fluctuates from time to time but the basic principle remains the same. EM < kur < CTP.
Right now the system is at 100 em = 13 kur = 1 ctp
