when me and 3 others attack a boss one member has a lock already if he kills it before the other 2 top attackers get a lock do they still get reward ???

I've noticed that some bosses can give multiple types of rewards. If players lock it, they're more likely to get the best of the rewards than those that participate but don't lock it. This can be used to your advantage sometimes; if you're after the lower-level reward, just make sure that you don't lock it, but that you're still in the top damaging players.

I'll put that to the test.

Very frustrating to get Vortul Plating (when you already have 2) and everyone else gets lasers or phasers... (When you can still use 2!)

Try and imagine getting 2 fights in a row, in the same day, Drannik Swarm Traps when everyone gets Drannik Power Core . That's one level+ worth of research vs an utterly useless trap. Yes, utterly useless.

depends who you are, I'd much rather get the trap. There is okkilor once you level some and he drops the same stuff.

By that I guess you mean that you already have some/all of them right ?

I find it super-extremely-hard to believe that even if you are at constant strife with the entire universe you'd rather have a trap that gives you 1000 attack on a "potentially" attacked planet for twelve hours against 50 flat bonus energy at the cost of 10 deck space.

Ya once you get all the cores you will want the traps. I have a lot of traps and use them on planets I conquer or that someone attacks while I'm online. They come in handy with 1K attack.

I hear ya, dont have to imagine, lived that one two. I too have had my 4th core passed up for a trap. (When everyone else got cores...)

4th trap tonight. At least I can schadenfreude the other 2 guys since everyone got traps. Either way, having a mob/NPC drop gold or crap it's kind of super frustrating. Especially when you keep drawing the short/#&$# stick.

And... 5th trap out of 5 kills. Actually the last two kills everyone got traps. Is it just me or the drop rate of reactors went to hell ? I understand is probably the most awesome drop someone could get at ranks 60-150 but come on... Please tell me it's not nerfed and my next 4 kills will be reactors.

Yep, locked up again, this time, everyone but the least damager got a trap.

Preeeettty lame...
