I have started to notice that my battle tab isn't showing any targets near my level anymore. I refuse to attack anyone more than 5 levels lower than me as just an honor thing, yet out of 10 enemies only 1 is within that range. Sometimes none are within 5 levels. I know I am not the only one as recently I am being targeted by players 20+ levels higher than me. How is this balanced pvp? I can't defend against that, and I know I could take my targets out without trouble too. |

My battle tab is starting to display that behavior as well. I used to be on the other side of that coin, though, getting disabled/raided/hacked by players 20+ levels above me, so it's just the circle of life I guess. There is usually at least one player who is about the same level. |

I believe I read somewhere that the battle tab opponents are scaled to be within roughly the same ship strength but don't quote me on that . that being said I am seeing a mix of +15 -15 my current rank |

I have noticed that as well Vlad, so I believe it must be based on ship strength and a bit of luck of the draw who you pull up. |

my battle tab is showing -93- -36 ranks below me. And as always unless the current system is infact my SS/PSS idea. Im going to recommend we go to that strategy of evening out the battle tab. P.S. Im also sure that the battle tab isnt based off ship strength. I have over 5000 and some of the guys I can attack are around 2500. |

I can definitely say it's not based on ship strength. I saw a ship on my battle tab with just 2 graviton shearers and I have 7 heavy singularity launchers with a full crimson armament. |

After a cerian point, levels don't mean quite so much in this game as does ship size and tech research and the general modual load out a player has set their ship up with. I'm not sure what your rank is right now and 20 levels might seem like a lot, but i can assure you 20 levels later on means absolutely nothing |

I thought that adjusting your cloak or scan changed who you saw in your battle tab but I can never remember which one. |

The higher your scan the better chances you have of seeing someone useing cloak. |
