I haven't been able to find out how to get Tech Parts.

I used the search ability and have read game guides etc and haven't found anything regarding them.

Can someone tell me more than 'sell some artifacts' and give a breakdown of how to get these? It's driving me nuts.
I've done what I think is everything just about what someone at rank 65 would have done by now and haven't ever got 1 Tech Part.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

1)Boss NPC's (you don't have many at your rank) Drop things that can be scrapped for CTP.
2)You can trade with other players for them.

Thats the only ways to get them.

You don't need tech parts at your level.
If you want some at your current rank to help upgrade a base, you will have to sell artifacts to higher ranks.

Or kill Complex Tech collector ships. They drop a little CTP.

But yeah. Best way to get them is to kill NPC bosses. You get ship stuff from NPC elites and if you've got enough of them you can start scrapping them. One of the players from my old legion managed to donate about 4500 CTP to our base at around level 200.

it can also be gotten from base raid i think... but i doubt that is possible for u atm, unless u sneaked into a uber legion
or... well... there was that one bi-weekly that rewarded some techs that u can scrap, but most biweekly are hard and most of those(being limited) should be kept~

so generally speaking, yeah, bosses(some rare/elite drops too, not gonna bother check which) and trades

I seem to have found the desired Tree....

yes you can get them from base raids. i believe you can get 20 or 40 from a crate.
