I'll be doing Drannik Extimction soon as I have a ton of chips saved up.
The question is, do I need to terraform the planet to 15x before turning it into gaia or can I still do it afterwards?

if you make it 15x first then after you use the seed it will make it 17x
so its best to max the planet out first and then use the seed..
or if you wait and use 5 crystals on the planet to make it a 20x and then use the seed it will be 22x
but that will take a while most likely

Very Massive, 20x is the ideal time to use a gaia or any such arti on it but if your a non-gp spending low ranked player then Very Large, 15x is decent enough.

Ah, I'll wait then. I'm in the game for the long run at this point. The terraformers are easy. And I already have 1 crystal. It'll take some time but I really want some perfect planets.
