Post subject: | What should I put on my planet? |
Ok so i have an average terra planet with 3x mega rich artifact, rich research, and extremely abundant mining. Im a level 40 and the highest buildings that i can put on it are as follows: +4 for arti, research or mining disruption minefield - 200 attack city shield - 100 defence, hypersphere habitats - 200 population shroud satellite - 75 cloak Im kinda new to this game and i was wondering what would be a good ratio of buildings to put on it. Thanks in advance! |

Pretty much just fill it up with your +4 arti buildings and chassis artifacts (processing core, relay tower, space elevator, etc). With your tech you really don't stand much chance of protecting it if someone else tries to take it so get what you can out of it while you do have possession. I'm not saying that to be a smartass, I'm just being honest. With just City Shields and Disruption Minefields, you could fill an average sized planet with nothing but those and even a rank 200 is going to have an easy time of invading it. |

Thanks for the reply Darth. If I do hold onto it for a long period of time, at what point in research would it be smart to start putting on defences? |

With planetary shields, you might stand more of a chance, mass shields are a long-shot, but can be worked with (not really). It all depends on one question which you must ask yourself: "Is this really that good of a planet, is it easily replaceable?" If not, you may as well get the most out of it, production wise, and hope some low-rank who doesn't know what he/she is doing takes it so it can be replaced with a better planet. |

Yeah, and probably all of your planets are easily replaceable. |

Yeah, and probably all of your planets are easily replaceable. Lol sadly yes they are. All of them can be replaced expect for the terra. |

While not exactly "common," the longer you play, the more you'll see that average 1x-3x terras are fairly easy to find. |

Darth I'd love to agree with you on that, however I'm lvl 231 and I very rarely come across any uninhabited Mega Rich or better planets, and trust me I've got the second to last level of scanners. Maybe by time I get into the 300's or 400's I'll start seeing more, plus I keep losing my best planets. One guy said I could keep my 9x MR Irradiated if I could take it back from him, which I did, then he took it back from me again, honorless prick. And no I'm not going to name any names. |

Scan tech has nothing to do with finding unoccupied planets aside from quantity. And I stand by my comment that terras are fairly easy to come by. I have 30 Terras of varying sizes between 0x and 4x. All scanned as unoccupied. |

icarium81 wrote: youve got a 4x terra? i thought they capped at 4x... did you abandon it ![]() Dunno if it was a reset or an abandon or natural. It's the only 4x I've found unoccupied. I've always been under the impression they capped at 3x also. I'm assuming that's what you meant and just had a typo. |
