Is there such thing as too much cargo space vs. mineral cap?
I had enough space to get all my minerals at their cap in my cargo and sold them and it seemed that I got less in one go than I normally did when getting it in chunks and selling it. It could've been a coincidence or slim chance thing, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

your cargo makes no difference in the price you sell the minerals for. If your cargo is big enough to carry all the minerals you collect in 12 hrs you are good to you the dark aperture key. If it bigger than that good for you. Smaller...get more artifact production.
Edit: You might have capped and actually lost some minerals so you actually sold less minerals compounded with the fact that the minerals you obtain from shipments are random you get what appears to be a lower average than what you would get from selling hourly.

There is no cargo space to mineral cap ratio that I am aware of. As you increase in rank, you get better quality minerals with each production pull. Early on you might struggle for cargo space; particularly as you have to equip/ unequip mods over and over. By the lower mid ranks though (200-400), you should have more than enough cargo to do what you need. There is a rumor, one of those GL urban legends, that if you are trying to increase your cargo space, you should keep it near full. Some people at one time reported getting more mass storage pods from their artifact production pulls when their cargo space was limited. By contrast, the rumor also says that when you don't want to get mass storage pods, then keep your cargo space less than half full. The notion is that somehow the game "gives" you the artifacts you need; but more likely these are just random occurances that people have been reading too much into. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ADD RANK POINTS TO CARGO! You have more than enough cargo space eventually; and sooner than you think.

1. I'm speaking purely Minerals and not artifacts.
2. First, I had enough space to sell my minerals in 2 shipments, and got around 900 m. Then I increased my cargo with msp and tesseracts to the point where I could get my mineral caps worth of minerals and sold it and only got 500 m, this is why I pose the question.
3. Read number 1. again.

3. Read number 1. again. Haha. Fair enough; though I understood your question from the beginning. I not only answered your question, I was just trying to be helpful by providing the extra information. If you didn't need it, then my bad.

I only said get more production so you could hold 12hrs of minerals in your cargo. Nothing about it being a source of the problem Monk223 wrote: 2. Maybe it does make a difference in the ending profit but I never notice a considerable difference when I get 10 aid as opposed to 5. I didn't think it would vary that much. And StolenPlanet, ty, but I'm not that low EDIT: Ty both for answering my question, although when it comes to the random aspects of the game, there is no straight answer.
