I would suggest tactical officers or decks but engineers are fine. Dont put them in cargo or in scientists. helmsmen are not ideal but they are a hell of a lot better than cargo or scientists

for me i would say only T.O and energy because deck have ship-bot to upgrade (lower deck mean lower dommage capacity) after cargo there is 2 artifact for it. helsman have a artifact, scientif also . put all your rank point into T.O and energy

in the long run, only TOs and engineers are worth it. you cant invade a planet with your helmsmen. and in the higher ranks, the ONLY extra attack is coming from TOs, so you need to strike a balance that you like, for enough energy to do what you want, and enough attack if your going to be stealing planets... if you have no intention of stealing planets, (i guess pvping could be counted here as well) then engineers.

It comes down to what you want in the long run like everyone else has been stating.
More crew = better raids, hacks, and invasions. Unless you just want to dump it all in engineers ... everyone complains they don't have enough E

the only problem with having a TON of E, even with the best relays, and fathers, im looking at over 3 days to refill my energy.

In the higher ranks it's not about how much E you have it's your ratio and spending it in a way that always allows you to rank up when you need to. No one can tell you the best way to spend you Rp as it's all down to your play style just split between tachs and engineers until you know a bit more about how you want to play the game.
