I want to turn one of my planet into an exotic mission planet, and I really want a large moon on it too. Should I use Reality Transfuser on the planet first until I get large moon, and THEN turn it into an exotic planet? Thank you in advance.

you only get 1 shot on your planet with a reality transfuser. if i was you, id take the crappiest planet that you currently own and turn it into the mission exotic THEN use the transfuser. the reason for this being that you probably have better odds of getting a decent effect once its the mission exotic as opposed to the regular planet which can end up with lush biosphere and subterranean caverns, which is pretty darn useless on an invincible planet...

Wrong. no matter what planet you use the tranfuser on it has the same odds of getting each effect. its always rings small or large moons or civilation ruins. I would use it on crap planets until one gives you rings then exotic it. better still make sure they are v massive planets since then when you get terraformers you can make them good planets with moons or ruins even if its not rings

i heard the RT gives you good effects only 95% of the time, i have also got plantery rings too on my mission exotic.

once a planet has a perm effect it says it can't be used someone said dan had confirmed you can get analyze to unlock for a planet that had an effect from RT from random effect, prob reason to play gov profession which boosts chance of events by 3x

To clarify what silverk said, you can only use the reality transfuser once. It can still be used after a natural analysis (I have plans to try and double-ring one of my planets to become my rift - even if only 35x Artifact) and natural analysis can still occur. You cannot, however, get a new analysis in between using the transfuser and performing the analysis itself.

you can't get the same effect twice. you can get multiple effects but they can't be the same. example you can't get small moons and large moons. So by the same logic i don't think you can get rings twice. I could be wrong but i am pretty sure what i say is true.

Actually it can't be used after a natural analysis, i had a natural analysis on a vl desert, got me ancient civilization ruins(+20% artifact), i went to use a reality transfuser a few months later and it said i couldn't do so.

I contacted Dan, and he informed me that it has to occur the other way round. So you would need to use a reality transfuser first, then hope to get a natural analysis event afterwards.

Since there are no guarantees on what you'll get from the RT, before I made my mission dyson I used the RT on my biggest metallic, this way in case it gave a defense/cloak related bonus, I could enhance the metallic with terraformers or Planet data optimizers.
Defense or cloak would be useless for an immune planet, and I didn't want to use the RT after the transformation for this reason.
In my case I got lucky and ended up with large moons on my metallic and then I transformed it into a dyson.

I heard that it's impossible for the invic planets to roll defensive stats. But I can't be sure as I can't test that conclusively
