This is most likely going to be an incredibly long task but I'm sure there are some players who welcome the challenge so....

Would someone be so kind as to make a "list" of all NPC drops and whether or not they should be installed on your ship/planet or scrapped for the CTP or credits? The wiki has a list of NPC artifact drops that would be a good start, but I'm pretty sure it is missing stuff (i.e. Vortul plating and korteth plating).

Are there any pilots out there in the GL universe that feel up to tackling this task?

So much of this depends on the person you're asking that there is no right answer to what you should and shouldn't scrap. There are so many different opinions on how to play this game. I will say that again.

I'll agree that there is no "Right" way to play, but there is an "ideal" way. For example, I see a lot of "how's my ship" threads where people are advising to remove a T.O. Megapulser in place of something else. How is that player supposed to know that there is better use for his ship space than having that megapulser installed. For a true "newbie" any item gained from an NPC would seem like it should be installed as soon as possible.
