Should I buy a research data archive

 I get 1108 research an hour, and my cap is 5400. Should I purchase an archive? Also, I have only colonized 6 planets out of a possible 10 at my rank, should I drop my standards for planets:

Stop on research, focus on arti. Get more planets. Since it caps out after 5 hours then yes, get an archive.

I agree with you. My artifact is pitiful at 135/h, and my mining is, well idk, at 410/h at rank 36. I am still looking to buy artifact planets.

You should first ask around your legion to see if people will donate a couple arti worlds for you. It'll save you a pretty penny. Also, once you get a good arti production going, get one or two more mining worlds so you can expand your ship more, then go back to arti.

Not that you can increase your Research Capacity by ranking. 250 RP per rank. 1k per 4 ranks (+1 Planet Slot). I would suggest for you to focus on your artifact per/hour. The earlier the better.

Actually, at that rank you can Xzien. Not that I recommend it.
Anyways, if you stop getting research planets this will fix itself easily enough. In 20 ranks you'll be at the recommended 8 hour cap, which really won't be more than a couple of weeks away. I wouldn't buy an archive. Just focus on other planet types - namely artifact - for now. _________________     |

If you're going to buy one, buy it with CTP, and when you no longer require it, sell it for the exact amount you purchased it for.
