What do people mean when they say they want an SSB ship? |

Small Ship Build. The point of this build is to have the smallest damage cap possible while having a hard hitting ship yourself. This means having low decks and high Tactical Officers. Defense is basically useless in this build. |

http://galaxylegion.com/wiki/index.php/Decks this should explain it a little bit and as mentioned above it's to have a lower damage cap. to be able to accomplish a ssb you need high artifact production. there are quite a few of these some that don't even use dominion cannons |

Defense is basically useless in this build. but not this. besides pvp, having a high damage tolerance can also be useful for npc'ing and to minimize repair costs. a ssb lazuli fixer with traps would also be inedible to all but the most belligerent attackers, so could go missioning in relative peace. |
