I'm trying to buy some perimeter stations(I didn't feel like doing the missions) although someone in my legion said that they can't be extracted. has someone been able to extract them?

Pro Tip: Always do limited mission if you can, otherwise you'll regret it like you do now.

I'll agree with you on that, but not all the way. Although they're useless for most planets, building them on Mega-Colossal-to-be planets is awesome. You get 100 Cloak and 100 Population, as well as 2 Research for only 1 space.
