kinda dumb question, but i still don't know what this "scan increases your critical hit" do ?

Like, deal 2x normal damage? Deal damage as if my attack is double of the normal amount (it's different from 2x normal damage) ? Deal damage as if enemy's def was half of that amount?

And what is the best chance? 5% ?

I've never noticed it and must be quite subtle.

Not sure the numbers & figures?! But I have carrying Max 5x scanners for a long time and do noticed I been getting more critical hits for npc & pvp. I assume if being attacked during offline, my scanners may help retaliate a higher numbers too?!

how do you recognize those as crit hits ? 1.5x higher than usual? 2x? 3x?

1.5x higher isnot it. The atk randomizer makes the atk dmg 0.6x-1.6x of the normal damage.

i reckon pretty much 2x your normal average

i was hitting a guy earlier for about 1.1k the crit hits were 2.2k
